// Kitchen fitting in Essex
Most kitchen jobs we price in Essex are not just a swap of units. Once the old kitchen is out there is usually a wall to move, a radiator in the wrong place or wiring that was never meant to run an induction hob, an oven and a dishwasher at the same time. We look for all of that at the site visit so it is in the quote, not a surprise in week one.
We fit kitchens from Howdens, Wren, Magnet, Wickes and independent suppliers, or one you have already bought. Either way the same crew does the strip-out, plumbing and electrics, plastering, fitting, worktops, tiling and decoration, so there is no waiting around for the next trade to turn up.
Replacing the kitchen as part of a bigger job? Doing it alongside a knock-through, renovation or extension on one schedule is nearly always cheaper than two separate projects.

You have bought the kitchen, we fit it properly. We check every box against the order on delivery day so nothing is missing when we start.
The wall between kitchen and dining room comes out, a steel goes in, Building Control signs it off, then the new kitchen goes into the bigger space.
Fitted as part of a rear or side-return extension, with plumbing and electrics planned around the new layout from the start.
New quartz, granite or laminate worktops and sprayed or replaced doors when the carcasses are still sound. A fraction of the cost of a full refit.

// One crew, every trade
Old kitchen out, waste taken away, and the walls and floor made good ready for the new one.
Sink, dishwasher and washing machine supplies moved or added, and radiators relocated if the layout needs it.
New circuits for ovens and hobs, extra sockets, under-cabinet and ceiling lighting, signed off with a certificate by our own electrician.
Walls skimmed where the old kitchen came off, so tiles and paint go on a flat surface.
Units levelled and fixed, worktops cut and jointed or templated for stone, appliances installed and tested.
Splashbacks tiled, floor laid and the room decorated so it is ready to use the day we leave.

Not for a straight swap. If a wall is coming out, new electrical circuits are going in or gas is being moved, there are regulations to follow, and we handle the notices and certificates.
Quartz and granite are templated once the units are in and fitted five to ten working days later. We template early in the job so it does not hold up the finish.
